Dori Stayton serves as a Consulting Manager for HoganTaylor and is responsible for assisting with the evaluation and structuring of potential M&A transactions, due diligence engagements, and serving as a client liaison with banks, potential investors and other interested parties from start-up through succession events. Dori has more than 13 years of corporate financial experience in the banking and investment sectors. She has served as a Middle Market Banker, Underwriter, and Analyst in the commercial banking industry and also as a Senior Management Accountant for a fund administration firm specializing in alternative asset investments. Her diverse background delivers a depth and breadth of knowledge across many industries, products, and services.
Prior to joining HoganTaylor, Dori was a Vice President / Middle Market Banker for JPMorgan Chase & Co where she managed a substantial loan portfolio of over 25 commercial clients with sales ranging from $20 million to $500 million. She began her career as a Corporate Banking Trainee at Commerce Bank focusing on relationships in the real estate, manufacturing and distribution, nonprofit, energy, and agricultural industries.
Dori holds an MBA from the John Cook School of Business at Saint Louis University. She received her BSBA from Columbia College, graduating summa cum laude, in Accounting and Financial Services. In addition to her responsibilities at HoganTaylor, Dori is a board member for Kids Have Hope, a nonprofit organization providing child abuse prevention education within Chicago schools. She also is a proud graduate of Leadership Tulsa, Class 43. Dori lives in the River West neighborhood of Chicago with her husband, Jeremy.
