Biography
Melissa Johnson is a Manager with HoganTaylor LLP. Melissa has approximately ten years of experience providing business valuation, litigation support, and tax services to numerous clients. She began her career with Arthur Andersen & Co. after graduating from The College of Charleston with a Masters degree in Accounting. Prior to joining HoganTaylor in March 2009, Melissa served as a senior associate in the business valuation and litigation support department at Dixon Hughes PLLC, a regional firm in Charleston, South Carolina. In addition to being a CPA licensed in Oklahoma and South Carolina, Melissa received the designation of Certified Valuation Analyst in 2002 and Certified Forensic Financial Analyst in 2010, and is a member of the American Institute of CPA’s, Oklahoma Society of CPA’s, and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.

- Prepare business valuations related to estates and gifts, shareholder disputes and the family courts.
- Provide litigation support services for the courts.
- Prepare damage calculations for lost business value; lost profits; wrongful termination; wrongful death.
- Prepare marital balance sheets and monthly expense schedules; analyze tax affects of asset distributions and alimony/child support arrangements.
