The HoganTaylor Foundation is now accepting applications for giving through March 31, 2015. Oklahoma- and Arkansas-based nonprofits are encouraged to apply.
HoganTaylor LLP, one of the largest public accounting firms in the Oklahoma and Arkansas region, formed the HoganTaylor Foundation in 2014. The foundation’s mission is to support the needs of the communities the firm serves by giving back through sponsorships, grants and volunteer support.
“Our employees have a history of giving back in our communities, and we want to support their efforts while providing needed funding for organizations that are making a difference,” said Gail Huneryager, HoganTaylor’s Chief Marketing Officer and foundation trustee. “While the HoganTaylor Foundation is only in its first year of operation, we are proud that we will be able to award a small number of grants this year to deserving nonprofits throughout our two state region.”
In October, the HoganTaylor Foundation announced a major initiative to support Oklahoma State University’s new home for the Spears School of Business. This $100,000 commitment to the OSU Foundation supports construction of the state-of-the-art business building in Stillwater. Randy Nail, HoganTaylor chief executive officer, presented the check to OSU President Burns Hargis and OSU Foundation President Kirk Jewell at a special reception in October.
To be considered for support, prospective grantee organizations must submit applications and supporting documents through hogantaylor.com/foundation. Grant awards may be used for programs, special projects, operational needs, and capital campaigns. Applicants must have a current 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status in order to meet the program’s minimum eligibility criteria. Full eligibility requirements can be found on the firm’s Foundation website page. Grants requests will be accepted from Jan 15 – March 31, 2015.
