In November of 2019, Adam Prichard joined HoganTaylor Technology, where he leads the cyber security practice. His IT journey began in 1997 with a telecom company installing and maintaining PBX systems across Arkansas. As VOIP was introduced, Adam acquired his MCSE, CCNA and CCDA licenses, and was building-out VOIP enabled data networks across the Midwest. Security became an interest after taking a position with the Electric Co-ops, where he managed a statewide network comprised of coops and substations. During this time, firewall management and IPS also became a focus.
After 14 years with the Co-ops, Adam left his position of Manager of IT for a job with a managed service provider that focused on community banking customers. As Manager of IT, he led a team responsible for supporting the IT infrastructure and security that protected the data of banking clients. He developed security awareness training programs, consulted with security policy and procedures, and developed Disaster Recovery and Incident Response Plans. Adam also established a security consulting practice where he managed the penetration testing, vulnerability scanning and remediation of client networks.
Adam continues his passion for empowering clients with knowledge that enables them to protect their business against the cyber threats they are faced with every day. His continued pursuit of knowledge drives him to stay up to date on the current attack methods that hackers utilize to attack networks.
